Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP)
The Board of the Polish Association of Cosmetic and Detergent Industry decided on the Association’s membership in the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP). The Association joined the group of ZPP member organisations at the beginning of March 2020.
ZPP is an organisation that has been active in the market for 10 years and already represents over 50,000 companies. The aim of ZPP is to initiate and support all activities aimed at eliminating from Polish legislation restrictions on business activities that exceed the requirements of the European Union, and thus to level the competitive playing field between Polish and European companies.
Why is cooperation with ZPP important for PACDI?
One of the key challenges to be faced by the cosmetic and detergent industries in the near future are undoubtedly environmental issues – connected with packaging and packaging waste.
This is the time when industry, local governments and recovery organisations need to start acting together and jointly communicate their position and proposals for good solutions, including the EPR system. Without this cooperation further talks with the government would be very difficult and their potential failure would have a negative impact on working conditions for companies in our industry. ZPP has a lot of knowledge in the field of environmental and waste issues and undertook the task of creating a common front for the industry, local governments and recovery organisations. Membership in ZPP allows the Association not only to be an active participant in the legislative process – especially in the field of environmental issues – but also to extend the service we provide to member companies.
